The business was established in 1976 by Jim Kehoe who successfully ran and developed the business until his untimely death in 2004. The company was then taken over by Willie Fitzharris of Fitzharris Construction Ltd who had enjoyed long and satisfactory service from Jim Kehoe and his company since the beginning.

Fitzharris Construction Ltd who specialise in structural steel, roofing and cladding and ran its own cranes since 1995 recognised Jim Kehoe Crane Hire as a good investment to expand into the crane hire business and therefore be in a position to offer a more comprehensive service to our customers and Jim Kehoe Crane Hire existing customers.
